MOVEMENT FOR ACTORS
TALLER: MOVIMIENTOPARA ACTORES
Marianela Boan is the internationally
best-known avantgarde Cuban choreographer. In 1988
she founded DanzAbierta as its General Director. Since
then, they have been travelling the world performing
her "contaminated dance" style. She has
created pieces for theater, cinema and dance companies.
Mrs Boan has performed as a soloist and teached as
well for actors, performers and visual artists at
NYU Tisch
College, Barnard College, American Dance Festival,
Bates Dance Festival and many other venues in U.S.
and all over the world.
Marianela Boan es la mas reconocida
coreógrafa cubana de vanguardia. En 1988 fundó
DanzAbierta como su Directora General, Desde entonces
han viajado por todo
el mundo presentando su estilo conocido como "danza
contaminada". Ella ha creado piezas para el teatro,
el cine y varias compañías de danza.
Mrs Boan ha bailado
como solista y también ha enseñado a
actores, performers y artistas visuales en el Tisch
College de NYU, Barnard College, American Dance Festival,
Bates
Dance Festival y muchas otras sedes de los Estados
Unidos y el resto del mundo.
Movement for actors:
Trough the different exercises of dance improvisation
and composition, to make the actor sensible to movement
and space; providing a deep knowledge of his/her body
as expressive means. To develop the relations body-space,
body-voice and the body and the voice as sign generators,
with the aim to raise the actor awareness about his
physical energy in the broadest sense of expression;
emotion, action; in the creation of a character and
in relationship with others and with the surrounds
during the creation process as well as on the miss

Taller de movimiento para
actores:
A través de ejercicios de improvisación
y composición, hacer al actor sensible al movimiento
y al espacio; proveyéndole de un conocimiento
profundo de su cuerpo
como medio expresivo. Desarrollar la relación
cuerpo-espacio, cuerpo-voz y el cuerpo y la voz como
generadores de signos, con el propósito de
aumentar la
conciencia del actor sobre su energía física
y aun más allá, en la emoción
y la acción, en la creación de personajes
y en su relación con los demás y con
el entorno durante el proceso de creación así
como en la puesta en escena.
